This page explains what oski.solutions stores in your browser and why. Short version: analytics and marketing cookies are off until you allow them in the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and tracking pixels. EU law (the ePrivacy Directive and GDPR) requires consent for any of these unless they are strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for.
2. How consent works here
On your first visit we show a banner with three equal options: accept all, reject all, or choose by category. Until you accept, we do not load Google Tag Manager or any Google analytics or advertising tag, so no non-essential cookies are set and no data is sent to Google. If you reject, nothing changes in how the site works. The cookieless visitor statistics described below run regardless of your choice, because they store nothing in your browser.
We remember your choice for 12 months, then ask again. You can withdraw or change consent at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer of every page. When you withdraw consent, we delete the analytics and marketing cookies the site set and stop loading the tags.
3. What this website uses
| Category | Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | oski-consent (local storage) | oski.solutions | Remembers your cookie choice so we do not ask on every page | 12 months |
| Strictly necessary | oski_followup, last_submit_page (session storage) | oski.solutions | After you send a form: links the optional follow-up questions to your request and confirms the submission | Until you close the tab; the follow-up link expires after 24 hours |
| Cookieless statistics (no consent needed) | None: no cookies or local storage | oski.solutions (hosted on Cloudflare) | Aggregate visit counts per page: time on page, scroll depth, clicks, traffic source, country and device type. Unique visitors are counted with a hash of IP address and browser data keyed by date, so it changes daily; the IP address is not stored | Nothing stored in your browser; aggregates kept about 3 months |
| Cookieless statistics (no consent needed) | None: no cookies or local storage | Ahrefs (Ahrefs Web Analytics) | Aggregate visit counts: pages viewed, referrer, country, device and browser type. Unique visitors are counted with a hash of IP address and browser data and a salt that changes every 24 hours; the IP address itself is not stored | Nothing stored in your browser |
| Analytics (consent) | oski_first, oski_visits, oski_journey, oski_visits_log, oski_pv (local storage), oski_session (session storage) | oski.solutions | Remembers how you found the site and which pages you viewed, so that if you send a form we know what you already read. Stays in your browser and is sent to us only with a form you submit | Until you withdraw consent or clear your browser data; the last 40 pages at most |
| Analytics (consent) | _ga, _ga_* | Google (Google Analytics, via Google Tag Manager) | Counts visits and shows how the site is used: pages viewed, time on page, traffic source, device type | Up to 2 years |
| Marketing (consent) | _gcl_* and Google advertising cookies | Google (Google Ads, via Google Tag Manager) | Measures whether our ads lead to inquiries and lets us show ads to past visitors | Up to 13 months |
Google Tag Manager itself sets no cookies; it only loads the tags above once you allow them. We use Google Consent Mode, so each Google tag respects the categories you chose. Fonts are served from our own server, not from Google Fonts.
4. Google as a recipient
When you allow analytics or marketing, Google Ireland Limited processes data such as your IP address, browser details and the pages you visit. Google may transfer data to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. See how Google uses data from sites that use its services and our privacy policy.
5. Ahrefs Web Analytics
We use Ahrefs Web Analytics, provided by Ahrefs Pte. Ltd. (Singapore), to see aggregate traffic to our pages. It sets no cookies and does not read or write anything in your browser, so it runs without a consent banner. When a page loads, Ahrefs receives your IP address and browser information, uses them only to produce the daily hash described above, and does not keep them. We rely on our legitimate interest in understanding how our website is used (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Data is processed outside the EU; see Ahrefs' privacy policy. You can object by emailing us or by blocking analytics.ahrefs.com with a content blocker.
6. Third-party pages we link to
If you use the call scheduling link on our contact page, you go to a scheduling page run by HubSpot. When you open our profiles on Clutch, LinkedIn, NuGet or other platforms, those sites apply their own cookie policies. They may set cookies once you are on their pages, not before. Please check their policies for details.
7. How to control cookies
Use to change your choice on this site. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Blocking cookies does not affect how this website works.
8. Changes
If we add a new cookie or tool, we update this page first. If it needs consent, we ask for it again.
