HS High Stake GmbH, based in Karlsruhe, Germany, hired OSKI in January 2021 to build a large business portal for the German division of a well-known company. The portal serves dealers and employees with modules for product materials, staff training and more.

“Guys proved to be experts in their field.”
From March 2021 to May 2025, a software consulting company in Carlsbad, California, used a team of two to five OSKI engineers to deliver custom Umbraco websites and integrations, Okta sign-in included, for its own clients.
When a project needed it, we assigned a project manager and QA on our side. When a client deadline came up on short notice, the team stepped in quickly. Their feedback also changed how we work: we now agree acceptance criteria before a ticket starts.
White-label work starts under NDA. We do not name agency clients or their end clients without permission, which is why this one appears here anonymously.
There is no anonymous pool of resources. You see profiles, talk to the people and pick who joins. After the start, a weekly check-in keeps the team size and focus in line with your roadmap.

Their communication skills, speed of development, and cost were incredible.

They had excellent project management skills, assigning project managers and QA representatives when needed.

They were listening about our needs and offering different solutions.

What it costs to build a SaaS product: hours and budgets for an MVP, a v1 for paying B2B customers and a scaled platform, cost per feature (multi-tenancy, billing, SSO, admin, onboarding, analytics) and the fees you pay after launch.
A web app costs about $9,000 for a simple internal dashboard to $480,000 for a large multi-tenant platform at Eastern European rates. We break down portals and dashboards by size and component, and show which features move the price.
Custom software costs about $14,000 to $320,000 at Eastern European rates and roughly twice that onshore in the US. We break it down by project type, component and engagement model, and show how to get an estimate you can plan on.

Yes. In white-label work we sign an NDA, build under your name and stay in the background with your clients. A US software consulting company used us this way from March 2021 to May 2025 for Umbraco sites and Okta integrations, and we assigned PMs and QA on our side when their projects needed it.
We agree acceptance criteria before work on a ticket starts. This came from client feedback: our white-label client told us their tickets worked best with very specific criteria and asked for more initiative from us in reading them. We now ask the questions up front instead of waiting for a review.

Yes, and it is a normal part of long engagements. Lokad worked with two to five of our engineers over the project, and seven different developers contributed to the HS High Stake portal. We discuss changes at the weekly check-in and plan them ahead.
