A new product or platform
Discovery, a fixed estimate for the first release, then design, build and launch. We help cut the first version down to what proves the idea.
We design, build and run custom software for companies whose work does not fit a standard product: internal systems, customer portals, SaaS products and the automation that connects them. Senior engineers, a fixed estimate before we start, and code that belongs to you.

The plan depends on what already exists. These are the starting points we see most often, each with a project where we did exactly that.

A system modeled on your process, with the data migrated in and the tools you keep (accounting, marketplaces, CRM) connected to it.
A code and data review first, then a plan: stabilize and continue, or rebuild the parts that hold you back. You get honest numbers before we start.
Every card links to a project where we built it, with the numbers the client saw. For narrower needs, see our CRM, ERP and web development pages.
ERPs, CRMs and operations platforms where orders, stock, planning and reporting live in one place instead of ten.
Logged-in areas where customers, dealers, students or staff see their own data and do their own tasks, pulled from the systems you already run.
Multi-tenant web products with sign-up, billing-ready accounts, admin tools and the monitoring you need once real customers depend on them.
Software that takes orders from marketplaces, buys from suppliers, routes jobs to production and shows the real margin on every product.
Back-end services that process files, video, audio or data at volume, scale up when work arrives and cost close to nothing when it does not.
Assistants, generation and automation built into the product your users already work in, with checks so the output can be trusted.
An agriculture technology company in Washington State had waited more than six months for a previous developer to finish its custom software. OSKI reviewed what existed, decided a clean rebuild would be faster and easier to maintain than patching, and delivered the working system in May and June 2025 with a single engineer.
“What stood out most was their commitment to delivering a functional and reliable solution, no matter the challenges.”
Custom software goes wrong when nobody sees it until the end. We keep the risky decisions early, show working software at every demo and release in steps, so surprises are small and cheap.
faster fulfillment and 50% less manual admin work, as Peregrine Ship reported in its Clutch review after we automated its sourcing and order flow. Read the case
We talk to the people who will use the system, map the process and the data, and list what must work on day one. You get a scope, a plan and a fixed estimate for the first release.
A data model, access rules and clickable UX for the main flows, so you see how work moves through the system before code is written.
Working software at every weekly demo, on a staging environment you can open yourself. Every change goes through code review and automated tests.
Data migrated by scripts and checked against the source, one team or one market first, then the rest. Nobody is switched over before the numbers match.
Monitoring, fixes and new features as the business changes. The same engineers who built it stay with it, or we hand it over to your team with documentation.
The first release is the cheap part. These rules keep the second, tenth and fiftieth release just as predictable, whoever writes them.
Source code, database and cloud accounts are yours from the first commit, with full IP assignment in the contract.
Every change arrives as a pull request reviewed by a second engineer. Clients can review too: Lokad’s engineers approved every PR we sent them.
Automated tests and deployment pipelines from the first sprint, so releases are routine rather than events.
Mainstream stacks, documented setup and readable code, so another team can take over if you ever need it.
Same engineers and the same review standards in every model. What changes is who runs the backlog and how it is billed.
You bring the outcome, we own scope, team, timeline and launch.
A cross-functional team working only on your product. More
Senior engineers join your team and follow your process.

A project stalled for over six months by a previous developer, rebuilt from scratch by one OSKI engineer and delivered on time and on budget.

What stood out most was their commitment to delivering a functional and reliable solution, no matter the challenges.
They maintained reliability without needing constant oversight, which made the collaboration efficient.

Their communication skills, speed of development, and cost were incredible.

The project team demonstrated a high level of commitment.

NetSuite integrates through REST or SOAP web services, RESTlets, SuiteScript, CSV import, marketplace connectors and iPaaS. We compare them by fit, limits and price, list where syncs break and show what a custom integration costs.
The best CRM for events depends on whether you sell services to one client or run events for thousands of attendees. We compare six options for planners, venues and conference organizers by how they handle clients, attendees, sponsors and integrations.
The best CRM for a logistics company depends on where your loads live. We compare six options for brokers, 3PLs and carriers by how they share shippers, lanes, quotes and carriers with the TMS, then show when an integration or custom layer pays off.
Anything missing? Send us your question and an engineer will answer, usually within one business day.
Contact usBuy when a standard product covers your process and the license cost stays reasonable as you grow. Build when the process is what makes your business different, when you are paying for several tools and gluing them together by hand, or when you need full control of the data. Often the answer is both: keep the standard tools and build the part that connects them. We say which one we would pick after discovery, not before.
It depends on scope, so we do not quote before discovery. After a one to two week discovery you get a fixed price for the first release. As a reference from our verified Clutch reviews: a stalled project was rebuilt by one engineer in two months, and a custom CRM was built by two to five engineers over twenty months in the $50,000–$199,999 range.
A first version that one team can use every day usually takes two to four months. Larger platforms are delivered in phases, each one in production before the next starts, so you get value long before the whole roadmap is done.
Yes, and it is a large part of our work. We start with a code, infrastructure and data review, tell you honestly what we found, and agree on whether to stabilize and continue or rebuild. On the AgTech project in our case studies, the previous developer had been delayed for more than six months; we rebuilt it and delivered in two.
You do. The code lives in your repository, the database and infrastructure in your cloud accounts, and the contract assigns all IP to you. There are no license fees to OSKI for software we build for you.
Yes. Send us your NDA or ask for ours, and we sign it before the first detailed call.
Our engineers work in Central and Eastern European hours with morning overlap for US East Coast teams. Calls and documentation are in English.
Yes. Most clients keep us on for monitoring, security updates and new features after launch. If you prefer to run it in-house, we hand over with documentation and pair with your developers until they are comfortable.
A spec, a Figma file or three paragraphs is enough to start.
