About Aspect

Print workshop in Zhytomyr, Ukraine, running since 2000 and selling personalized mugs, t-shirts, puzzles and canvas prints on Amazon in the US, UK and EU.

Aspect has printed custom goods in Zhytomyr since 2000. Today most of its sales come through Amazon in the US, UK and EU, and most of those orders are personalized through Amazon Custom.

Each personalized order carries the buyer's own artwork. Someone has to download it, check it, and put the job into the right production queue before the ship-by date.

The challenge

What had to be solved

The workshop was running a growing Amazon business through Seller Central and spreadsheets.

  • Staff downloaded buyer files by hand and checked their resolution one by one.
  • Order details were typed again into the workshop's own tracking.
  • Blank stock such as mugs, shirts and canvases lived in spreadsheets, so reorders depended on memory.
  • Revenue was visible, but the true margin after Amazon fees, ads, reprints and materials was not.
The approach

How the team built it

One feed from seven marketplaces

OSKI connected the platform to Amazon through SP-API. Orders from 7 marketplaces sync every 15 minutes, covering both made-to-order Amazon Custom items and pre-printed FBA stock.

Orders become print jobs

When an Amazon Custom order lands, the platform opens a job for it on the right production line. The customer's image file, the ship-by deadline and the order details travel with that job. Routing rules can be edited in the app.

A quality gate for artwork

Files under 300 dpi are held back. The system asks the buyer for a better file automatically, so a weak image never reaches the printer.

Stock and margin in the same view

Workshop blanks and FBA stock are tracked with days-of-cover alerts and draft purchase orders. A profit view takes each product's sales and deducts what it really costs: marketplace fees, delivery, advertising, reprints, blank materials and ink.

The outcome

What changed

Order handling moved from Seller Central tabs into one workspace built around the print floor.

  • Custom orders travel from Amazon to the production line with no one copying them by hand.
  • 97% of Amazon Custom orders were routed with no human step, measured in the demo scenario.
  • Low-resolution artwork is caught before printing, which cuts reprints.
  • Blanks are reordered on time based on actual daily usage.
  • Real margin per product and marketplace shows where scaling makes sense.
