TypeScript development

TypeScript for front ends that have to stay maintainable.

On larger front ends we write TypeScript, so changes are checked before they reach users. It runs the React 18 and Ant Design front end of the EM2 event platform, and the Lit web components of Auto.co.il, a major Israeli car portal rebuilt on Umbraco 15.

What we build with TypeScript

Where TypeScript earns its place.

The kinds of work we use TypeScript for, based on the projects below rather than a list of everything the technology can do.

Large React applications

Typed API clients, forms and state for products with many screens and several developers working at once.

Web components

Lit components in TypeScript that work inside any CMS template and stay light on the page.

Typed contracts with the back end

Shared types between front end and API, so a renamed field breaks the build, not production.

Related services

TypeScript is a tool. These are the jobs it does.

We do not sell hours of a technology. We take on a result, and choose the stack with you. These are the services where TypeScript usually comes in.

TypeScript FAQ

TypeScript questions we hear.

Anything missing? Send us your question and an engineer will answer, usually within one business day.

Contact us
Do you write new front ends in TypeScript?+

Yes, for anything beyond a small script. It costs little extra time and saves a lot when the code changes later.

Can you add TypeScript to an existing JavaScript project?+

Yes, gradually: new files in TypeScript first, then the most-changed modules, without stopping feature work.

What are Lit web components?+

Small standard components that run in any page without a framework. On Auto.co.il we used Lit with TypeScript for front-end components inside an Umbraco site.

Start a project

Tell us what you are building with TypeScript. We come back with a plan and a price.

A spec, a Figma file or three paragraphs is enough to start.

  1. First reply · from an engineer, not a sales rep
  2. 30-min call · with Roman, our CTO, to clarify scope
  3. After the call · a written proposal with plan, team and price
