Elasticsearch development

Elasticsearch for search that keeps up with your data.

We add Elasticsearch when built-in database search stops being enough. It powers search across large task volumes in a Scrum and Kanban workspace and search in the HS High Stake business portal for a German division, its dealers and staff.

What we build with Elasticsearch

Where Elasticsearch earns its place.

The kinds of work we use Elasticsearch for, based on the projects below rather than a list of everything the technology can do.

Search in SaaS products

Fast full-text search across tasks, comments and attachments, kept in sync with the main database.

Search in business portals

Product and document search for dealers and employees in a .NET portal.

Filters and facets

Faceted filtering that stays fast on large catalogs and lists.

Related services

Elasticsearch is a tool. These are the jobs it does.

We do not sell hours of a technology. We take on a result, and choose the stack with you. These are the services where Elasticsearch usually comes in.

Elasticsearch FAQ

Elasticsearch questions we hear.

Anything missing? Send us your question and an engineer will answer, usually within one business day.

Contact us
Do we need Elasticsearch?+

Only when database search gets slow or you need relevance ranking, typo tolerance and facets. For CMS sites, Lucene inside Umbraco is often enough; we used it on Auto.co.il and Ben-Gurion University.

How do you keep the search index in sync?+

Changes are pushed to the index when records change, with a full re-index job for recovery.

Can you add Elasticsearch to an existing .NET system?+

Yes. The HS High Stake portal is a .NET system with Elasticsearch alongside SQL Server.

Start a project

Tell us what you are building with Elasticsearch. We come back with a plan and a price.

A spec, a Figma file or three paragraphs is enough to start.

  1. First reply · from an engineer, not a sales rep
  2. 30-min call · with Roman, our CTO, to clarify scope
  3. After the call · a written proposal with plan, team and price
