Key takeaways
- Shortlist on channel sync first: which marketplaces and stores connect natively, which records sync, and how often stock updates.
- Business Central includes a free, preinstalled Shopify Connector; NetSuite's own connector lists from $199.92 per month on the Shopify App Store, on top of NetSuite licenses.
- Cin7 Core publishes prices from $349 per month with 5 users, but caps sales orders and integrations per plan, and each Amazon store counts as an integration.
- Amazon's SP-API allows getOrders at one request per minute after a burst of 20, so serious Amazon sync relies on notifications and reports, not polling.
- When orders turn into production jobs, personalized items or per-order sourcing, a custom order layer on top of your accounting often beats a generic ERP.
The best ERP for ecommerce is the one that keeps a single, trustworthy stock number across every channel and moves orders from Shopify, Amazon and your other stores into fulfillment and accounting without anyone copying them. For growing multichannel brands that usually means NetSuite, Acumatica Commerce Edition or Business Central with native connectors; for smaller sellers, an inventory-first platform such as Cin7 Core, Brightpearl or Zoho Inventory, connected to QuickBooks or Xero, is often the better buy.
We build marketplace and store integrations, including Amazon SP-API order pipelines and WooCommerce bulk imports, so this guide judges each option by what really matters in ecommerce: which channels connect, which records sync, how often, and what breaks at volume. Prices are list prices from vendor pages as of November 2026; quote-only vendors are marked.

Take the fit check first. It tells you whether you need a full ERP, an inventory platform, or a custom layer for the part of your order flow no product models.
What matters in an ecommerce ERP: channels, stock and order routing
Ecommerce stresses an ERP differently from a distributor with a few large orders. You have many small orders, many channels, and a stock number that every channel wants to see in near real time.
- Channel coverage and record scope. A connector that “supports Amazon” may only import orders. Check products, prices, quantities, orders, fulfillments, refunds and payouts separately, and check which marketplaces (US, UK, EU) each one covers.
- Inventory sync and buffers. The ERP should own stock and push available quantities to each channel, with per-channel safety buffers. Ask whether updates are event-driven or scheduled, and how often. Every minute of delay is a chance to oversell your last unit.
- Bundles, kits and variants. A bundle sold on Shopify must reduce stock of its components. Variants must map one to one to SKUs. Sync failures often start with SKU mapping, not with the connector itself.
- Order routing. Deciding which warehouse, 3PL, FBA pool or production line fills an order is business logic. Some ERPs route by rules; many leave it to you.
- Platform rate limits. Amazon’s SP-API documentation lists getOrders at 0.0167 requests per second with a burst of 20, which is about one call per minute once the burst is spent, and getOrderItems at 0.5 per second. Shopify uses a leaky bucket where size and restore rate vary by API and plan. Connectors that poll aggressively will throttle at peak; good ones use notifications, reports and backoff.
- Fees, settlements and true margin. Marketplace fees, ad spend, returns and payouts rarely land in the ERP in a form you can report per product. If margin per SKU per marketplace matters, plan for it explicitly.
The shortlist in depth
NetSuite with NetSuite Connector: best for fast-growing multichannel brands
Fits: growing brands selling direct and wholesale, with several warehouses, 3PLs or entities.
Strengths: strong inventory, purchasing, multi-location and multi-subsidiary financials. Oracle’s NetSuite Connector, the former FarApp, is first-party. Its Shopify App Store listing says it syncs products, prices, quantities, orders and fulfillments, and lists Amazon, eBay and Walmart as compatible. The B2B plan adds invoice posting, payments and B2B customer sync.
Limits: the connector is a second subscription, and an integration partner’s guide notes its field mapping is limited to predefined options; complex logic often moves to an iPaaS or custom code.
Pricing: NetSuite is quote-based; third-party guides estimate a base fee near $999 per month and full users around $99 to $129 per month. The connector lists B2C Standard at $199.92, B2C Premium at $249.92 and B2B at $916.58 per month on the Shopify App Store.
Integration note: NetSuite caps concurrent API requests by account tier. Flash sales and Black Friday are when that limit shows up.
Acumatica Commerce Edition: best for Shopify and BigCommerce sellers with B2B
Fits: brands and distributors selling on Shopify or BigCommerce and to trade customers, with many warehouse and support staff who need logins.
Strengths: Acumatica says its Shopify and BigCommerce connectors are included in Commerce Edition, and markets an Amazon connector that supports both FBA and merchant-fulfilled orders. Licensing is resource-based rather than per seat, so warehouse staff do not each need a paid user.
Limits: quote-only, and transaction volume affects your tier. A partner notes that BigCommerce B2B Edition price lists and multi-storefront orders typically need extra mapping or API work.
Pricing: quote-based.
Integration note: Acumatica exposes a commerce connector framework for building connectors to platforms it does not cover natively.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central: best for Shopify sellers on Microsoft 365
Fits: Shopify merchants with 10 to 200 staff who also sell wholesale and want a full ERP without NetSuite pricing.
Strengths: Microsoft’s documentation says the Shopify Connector is preinstalled for new sign-ups and that you can connect one or more shops. Inventory, purchasing, warehousing and financials are in Essentials.
Limits: Amazon and other marketplaces need partner apps or a custom integration. The connector uses expiring tokens that must be refreshed at least every 90 days, or the shop has to be reconnected, according to Microsoft.
Pricing: Essentials $80 and Premium $110 per user per month, paid yearly, according to Microsoft. The Shopify Connector has no separate fee.
Cin7 Core: best inventory-first platform for multichannel sellers
Fits: product brands with one or more stores, marketplaces, wholesale and 3PLs that need strong inventory and purchasing but keep accounting in QuickBooks or Xero.
Strengths: Cin7 claims more than 700 integrations. Its help center says Amazon orders land in Pending Sales with stock allocated, and several Amazon stores can be linked.
Limits: each plan caps sales orders per year and the number of integrations, and Cin7’s help center says each Amazon store counts as an integration. A Shopify plus Amazon plus 3PL setup can use up a plan’s integration slots quickly.
Pricing: Standard $349 per month (5 users, 6,000 sales orders a year, 2 integrations), Pro $599 (10 users, 24,000 orders, 4 integrations) and Advanced $1,199 (15 users, 120,000 orders, 6 integrations), according to Cin7’s pricing page. Cin7 Omni is quote-based.
Brightpearl by Sage: best for retail brands that want OMS and ERP in one
Fits: omnichannel retailers on Shopify, BigCommerce or Magento with physical stores or wholesale.
Strengths: Brightpearl positions itself as a retail operating system that combines order management, inventory and accounting, and says unlimited users are included at no extra cost. It is part of Sage.
Limits: its pricing page names Shopify, Magento and BigCommerce as ecommerce integrations but does not confirm a native Amazon connector, so check how Amazon orders reach it.
Pricing: quote-based, set after a consultation and demo, according to Brightpearl.
Zoho Inventory: best budget option for small sellers
Fits: small sellers with one or two locations who want order and stock control across a store and a few marketplaces.
Strengths: Zoho’s pricing page lists integrations with Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Etsy, Shopify and WooCommerce, and it pairs naturally with Zoho Books.
Limits: plans cap monthly orders (50 on Free up to 15,000 on Enterprise) and locations. Deep B2B, landed cost and multi-entity needs go beyond it.
Pricing: Free, Standard $29, Premium $79, Plus $129 and Enterprise $249 per organization per month, billed annually, according to Zoho.
A note on multichannel order tools
Linnworks and similar tools sit between channels and your ERP or accounting system, handling listings, orders and shipping. Linnworks prices by order volume and does not publish figures. They are a good fit when channel operations, not finance, are the bottleneck.

What it costs over three years
For ecommerce, license fees are often not the biggest cost. SKU cleanup, mapping bundles and variants, testing every channel and watching the sync at peak season can cost as much as the first year of software. The calculator uses list prices where vendors publish them.
When a custom layer is the better answer
Buy a commerce ERP or inventory platform when you pick, pack and ship standard products. The connectors above cover that well, and their vendors absorb channel API changes for you.
A custom layer makes sense when the order is only the start of the work:
- Orders become production jobs. Personalized products need artwork checks, routing to the right line and ship-by tracking. That is the Aspect case above.
- Stock is sourced per order. For Peregrine Ship, a dropshipping platform, OSKI built a step that buys from 1688 suppliers for each order and bills clients only when each stage completes.
- Catalogs move in bulk. For ProdUp, OSKI split WooCommerce imports into parallel tasks with retries and kept the result of every import, so nothing disappears silently.
- Margin per product per marketplace must include fees, ads, returns and materials.
The usual design keeps accounting in QuickBooks, Xero or an ERP, and builds a focused order layer that talks to Amazon SP-API, Shopify or WooCommerce. For the accounting side of that design, see our guide to a two-way QuickBooks sync.
Before you sign: a checklist
Run these tests in a sandbox connected to a test store and, where possible, a real marketplace account:
- Import your full SKU list, including variants and bundles. How many fail to map, and why?
- Sell the last unit of an item on two channels within a minute. Does either channel oversell?
- Sell a bundle. Do component stock levels drop correctly everywhere?
- Refund part of a Shopify order and process an Amazon return. Do stock and accounting both update?
- Import a day of peak-season order volume at once. Does the connector throttle, queue or drop orders, and where are failures logged?
- Reconcile one Amazon settlement against the orders and fees in the ERP. How much is manual?
- Disconnect and reconnect a channel. Do you get duplicate orders or products?
If a vendor cannot show you where failed syncs are logged, assume nobody will notice until a customer complains.
Where OSKI fits
OSKI is a software engineering company, not a reseller, so we have no stake in which product you pick. We help with ecommerce development for order, fulfillment and sourcing automation, Amazon SP-API integration for multi-marketplace orders, stock and profit, and integrations that connect your stores and marketplaces to an ERP or to QuickBooks. Tell us your channels, order volume and current tools, and we will tell you which path fits and roughly what it costs.
- Shopify ⇄ Orders in, quantities out with per-channel buffers ERP
- Amazon → getOrders: about one call per minute after the burst ERP
- Bundles → A sold bundle must reduce component stock Components
- ERP → Order routing is business logic; many ERPs leave it to you Warehouse or 3PL
- Marketplace fees → Fees, ads and payouts rarely land per product ERP

Zoho Inventory, Cin7 Core and Business Central figures are list prices from vendor pages in November 2026; Zoho and Cin7 are flat plan fees with user, order and integration caps. The NetSuite line combines third-party estimates for NetSuite licenses (Oracle does not publish prices) with the Shopify App Store list price of the NetSuite Connector B2C Standard plan. Acumatica and Brightpearl are quote-based and not shown. Setup and yearly upkeep are rough figures for migration, SKU mapping and connector maintenance; replace them with quotes.
